Two Jawan Killed, And Three Injured Ceasefire Violation By Pakistan IN j&K Poonch : Pakistan forced on Sunday continued to violate ceasefire along the line of control between India and Pakistan, leading to the death of a soldier of the India army in the Poonch sector of J&K. A civilian was also reportedly injured in the incident.
The incident comes a little more than one week after a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was killed in shelling from the Pakistan side, and merely days after shelling from the neighbouring country killed eight civilian. India has reacted proactively to both transgression from the Pakistan side, first destroying four Pakistan posts and inflicting heavy casualties, and then razing another 14 when the civilian were targeted.
Two army jawans killed were killed and three others two soldier and a woman were injured as Pakistan army opened fire in big to facilitate two infiltration bids along the LOC in Krishna Ghati and poonch sector of poonch district today.
The Indian army said that while the infiltration bids were foiled, it has also inflicted heavy damage to several Pakistan posts across the line of control in Poonch sector. The army said later in the day that the shelling was apparently a cover for some infiltration bids from the Pakistan side.
